find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose. eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours) 5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day 8 glasses of water have complex carbs for breakfast – they give you energy have lean meat (protein) for dinner – repairs muscle cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light training dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily. ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Question by : How can alkaline ash foods help with my diet and overall health? I recently started a new exercise and workout program to lose and feel energized. I feel fine when working out, however, the rest of the day I still feel extremely tired, worn out, and not any different than before my exercise program. A friend suggested an alkaline ash food diet; is there any truth behind her suggestion, and what types of foods are recommended for this diet? Furthermore, will it really effect my overall health?Best answer:

For a new and healthy you, a diet of alkaline ash food will definitely help. Alkaline ash foods have many benefits to your health when you switch to this type of diet. Alkaline ash foods are known to promote a healthy body, including the intestinal tract.Alkaline ash foods are rich in many nutrients including sodium, iron, calcium, and potassium. Most alkaline ash food consists of fruits and vegetables. Tomatoes, cucumbers, and grapefruits are especially beneficial to the alkaline diet. In addition, avocados and limes are other great choices when sticking to this diet. Dairy products such as milk and ice cream should be avoided when following this type of diet. It is best to switch to soy products. Soy when ingested also has alkaline benefits and can be a healthy alternative.
