what is the benefit (if any) of benching so much weight that there’s only 1-3 reps? thank u

  • Snowdaddypower said,

I think it would be more useful if you talked more about technique instead of just elbow position. Yes, high elbows are usually the most common mistake but there’s much more to benching than just elbow position.

with all the different vids i see on this topic it seems like it is completely impossible to do it right, if i would happen to do it wrong, would it be completely resultless?

should you let the bar touch your chest? because when I extend the bar down that far it usually stretches the front of my shoulders too much,?

  • juniorjabbaccrane62 said,

so is barbell bench press more effective than dumbell bench press? or vice versa?

  • superbench75 said,

I agree with the Dumbell press technique, however, i just cant agree with the benchpress technique, because although your method does remove much of the tension from the shoulder joint, it also removes the tension from the chest muscle. Maybe its just me but I think that those two bench techniques should be switched off, but there isnt really a right/ wrong that i can see in your video

imma try this tomorrow, im 6’0 feet tall and pretty stong overall but my bench sucks

  • I2IEVOILT said,

@Sciunisonfitness nice, thanks for the information, i’ll try it on my next chest day!

  • 14gotti said,

@Keganskates stop jakin off or switch hands hahahaha

  • Sciunisonfitness said,

@I2IEVOILT depends on your frame. Unfortunately my shoulders are slightly on the narrow side :( , therefore my grip is slightly closer. Not to the point where it becomes a close grip bench though. It is best to experiment with the grip and the best way is with a super light, high rep set. Pick a weight that allows you to complete 20-25 reps. Test your grip with 3 or 4 sets. At the end of the 25 reps if you triceps burn, you are too close, shoulders – too wide, chest – bingo

Looks like a decent (at best) cardio machine, but a piece of trash compared to the Precor Adaptive Motion Trainer and the Technogym Vario

Personally I’ll go for a bicycle ride outside or a hike, screw being on a cardio machine…

all u need is to run/walk 30 minutes a day and get you a good set of used dumbells and eat right. you will feel better, look better, and be healthier

the yellow-grey elliptical by precor has freemotion beat. i don’t know the name of the precor but it is at my gym and at 24hr fitness gyms.

freemotion looks okay but the “range of movement” is restricted to length of stride, seems to me, and it looks more like a stairclimber on steroids(cybex has one). the precor has all that PLUS variance in stride TYPE, ie it goes from up/down like a stairmaster to a full running stride.

i don’t see freemotion having a stairclimbing motion
